Product Description

Our Brabec Basics Vitamin D3+K2 product is an uncoated chewable tablet with each tablet containing 2000IU of Vitamin D3 and 75 mcg of Vitamin K2 (Mk7). This is a Non-GMO formula with a mild natural cherry flavor.

Vitamin D deficiencies are becoming more prevalent in the US. Currently a majority test Vitamin D deficient. This deficiency is progressively being linked to an increase in risk for a variety of health issues.

Vitamin D is needed for the regulation of calcium, to support healthy bones and teeth and for its protective effects with regards to overall health. It is naturally present in only a few foods (salmon, eggs, cod liver oil), added to others (fortified milk), and available as a dietary supplement. It is also produced when skin is directly exposed to sunlight.

A blood test that measures your amount of vitamin D  is the only way to know if you’re getting enough vitamin D.  If you are Vitamin D deficient, supplements are often recommended. The most commonly recommended form of Vitamin D is D3.  Chewing a tablet is often preferred because it can be better and faster absorbed as compared to swallowing it in pill form.

Combining a bit of Vitamin K2, with Vitamin D helps calcium deposit in bones (a good thing) and not in soft tissues, like veins, arteries or skin (not a good thing).  Additionally, Vitamin K2 (Mk7) is the most bio-available form of Vitamin K and is considered by many to be the most active form of Vitamin K in the body.

Before taking this or any over-the-counter product, it is always advisable to discuss its use with your primary care professional.

I was amazed to learn from the results of a recent blood test that I was vitamin D deficient.... especially since I live in a warm, sunny climate and spend some amount of time outdoors every day! That's when I started to do some research and found out how common vitamin D deficiency is in the US. The older you are the more likely. Wow, I had no idea and was again shocked to learn that I was one of them. As a regular OneLifeUSA customer, I immediately added your Brabec Basics Vitamin D to my orders. You've got the product for a price that's great, and your shipping is super-fast. Thank you

Just a quick note of thanks for your Brabec Basics products. The fact that your founder puts out such a high quality line of products and pays for part of it - well, in today's world let's just say that's not the norm! It is much appreciated. Oh.. and a big high five for adding the all-important vitamin K2 to your vitamin D3 product!

At my last physical, my doctor told me that he wanted to me start taking Vitamin D. I was happy to see you offered it under your Brabec Basics line. As a senior citizen with a limited and fixed income, your Brabec Basics products are a God send.
