effective as many prescription anti-depressants with far fewer side
effects and at a much lower cost to the consumer. St. John’s Wort is
used more commonly in Germany than Prozacİ, and there is research which
points at the effectiveness of Hypercium as a possible treatment for
alcoholism. (Also Available without St. John's Wort)
Choline-This
B Vitamin is essential for producing the important
neurotransmitter acetylcholine and making
phosphatidycholine, which is crucial for making the
membranes of your cells. Choline improves memory,
facilitates the movement of fats in the cells and regulates
the kidneys and liver. Choline deficiency can lead to a
hardening of the arteries and heart disease
Gotu Kola-Often
called food for the brain, Gotu Kola has been popular for
years as a way to relieve symptoms of anxiety and stress
while improving concentration and memory. In the east Gotu
Kola is believed to balcne the hemispheres of the brain and
improve meditation. This herb has a positive effect on
circulation and aids in the process of healing burns and
wounds.
Schisandra Fruit-This
fruit has been shown to stimulate the Central Nervous
System, improve blood flow, increase brain efficiency and
minimize insomnia.
Guarana Seed-A
natural stimulant, Gurana contains a substance very similar
to caffeine (tetra methylxanthine) although unlike caffeine,
Gurana is absorbed slowly by the body so as not to produce
an overwhelming effect as sometimes experienced by those
drinking too much coffee. This seed also contains
theobromine which is the ingredient in chocolate that causes
both euphoria and stimulation. Gurana also contains
theophyline in small amounts which is stronger than caffeine
as well as saponins which are believed to be the chemicals
responsible for the nergizing properties of Ginseng.
Korean (Panax) Ginseng-Panax
Ginseng is effective for energizing the body, relieving
stress, and improving mental functioning. Ginseng has also
shown cancer-preventing properties in recent studies.
Ginseng may help people with type-2 diabetes by lowering the
blood sugar. In Asia Panax is often used for indigestion and
heart problems. In Asia, Ginseng has long been viewed as an
aphrodisiac and recent studies found that substances found
in Panax known as ginsenosides may work like Viagraİ.
Spirulina-This
ancient Algae is rich in nutrients and has been shown to
increase energy and alertness, reduce weight and act as a
powerful antibiotic. Spirulina also provides endurance and
speeds up recovery from injury. It has been shown to prevent
cancer and improve digestion. It is rich in beta-carotene,
B-12, iron, trace minerals and the rare essential fatty acid
GLA.
L-Carnitine-Assisting
in the production of one of the brain’s most important
neurotransmitters, acetylcholine, Carnitine, an amino acid,
is believed to have anti-aging properties. L-Cartinine has
been used in the treatment of alcholism, Alzheimer’s Disease
and Down’s Syndrome. In healthy patients it has been shown
useful as a Central Nervous System enhancer, improving
concentration and memory. It is believed to be useful for
weight management and promotes healthy heart functioning.
L-Tyrosine-This non-essential amino acid aids in the
production of the neurotransmitters dopamine,
norepinephrine, and epinephrine, all of which effect mood.
Tyrosine is beneficial for treating depression and helps
relieve stress.
Thiamin.
-This important B vitamin is crucial for turning food into
energy. Thiamin also helps get your brain the fuel it needs,
warding off depression and forgetfulness.
Riboflavin-Riboflavin
is essential because it gives your cells energy, regulates
cell growth, and helps you make antibodies for fighting
disease. Riboflavin has been shown to greatly reduce the
frequency and severity of migraine headaches. There is also
research to show that this important B vitamin improves
memory.
Folic Acid-This
B Vitamin guarantees the speedy replacement of blood cells
that wear out of every day, especially red blood cells and
skin cells. Folic Acid also prevents birth defects, heart
disease and may even help prevent cancer. Studies done in
Massachusetts show that low levels of Folic Acid in the body
may be linked to depression.
Vitamin B12-
Also known as Cobalamin, this important vitamin makes sure
you produce the many millions of red blood cells you need
everyday. Red blood cells carry nutrients and oxygen
throughout your body and without them you develop Anemia.
B12 also forms the protective insulation around your nerves
which keeps them functioning properly. And Cobalamin is good
for your heart.
B-6: Pyridoxine-
Vitamin B-6 also known as Pyridoxine is a water soluble
vitamin. It is needed to make hormones, proteins and
enzymes. This vitamin has also been studied because of it's
benefits in helping to prevent heart disease. The main job
of pyridoxine is shuffling around your amino acids to make
the 5,000 plus proteins your body needs to function. It is
also involved in making 60 different enzymes.
Niacin
- Niacin, commonly referred to as B-3 and is water soluble.
It releases energy, makes hormones, removes toxins and helps
keep cholesterol normal.
Biotin-You
need Biotin to properly process the amino acids and fats in
food. Biotin also keeps hair healthy and deficiencies of it
can cause hair loss.
Panthothenic Acid-helps you use fats and carbohydrates to make energy,
hormones and red blood cells.
Eleuthero Root (Siberian Ginseng)-used
as a tonic in China for over 2000yrs, this root helps
restore concentration, increase energy and promote a healthy
appetite.
Oat-Oats help keep sugar levels in the body from rising
too fast after you eat. They help reduce the risk of heart
disease and cholesterol.
Coenzyme Q-10- This a naturally occurring
vitamin like constituent of most cells, has also been shown
to extend the life span in animals and may slow the fall in
growth hormone. CoQ10 is considered not only to be a
metabolic enhancer but an anti-aging drug. It has been shown
to help prevent heart disease, lower blood pressure, improve
the gums and reduce periodontal disease, and stabilize aging
cell membranes.
Inositol-A
fundamental ingredient of cell membranes, Inositol works
closely with Choline. It is necessary for the proper
functioning of nerves, muscles, and the brain. It is used
for depression, liver problems and boosting seratonin levels
in the brain.
PABA-PABA
is used to improve protein use in the body and is essential
for the production of folic acid in the digestive system.
PABA is also involved in the production of red blood cells
and a deficiency of PABA can lead to depression and fatigue.
DimethylGlycine-This nutrient is thought to boost sexual energy and
improve mental functioning. |
